1. Scarlet Witch


 Beginning the list today is a beautiful witch from Marvel Universe, Wanda Maximoff, or Scarlett Witch. This version of the character first appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and has no true magical powers.

 Instead, she has psionic abilities that were given to her by exposure to the energy of Loki's Scepter. The original version of Scarlet Witch from the comics does possess magical abilities that she combined with her own natural mutant powers.

Maxim off in the MCU has been described less as a wielder of actual magic and more as "a Jean Grey analog, gifted with both telepathic and telekinetic powers", with her abilities in the MCU being derived at least in part from experiments in which she was exposed to the Mind Stone.

 

2. Doctor Stranger       

  It can be said that Doctor Strange is a unique character of Marvel because he owns strong magical power. This makes him appear in the top best superheroes in Marvel Universe. His incredible power comes from his spells with various functions. Until this time, the most powerful strength of this character is to destroy an entire planet.

The power which was absorbed from the vast Universe endowed him powers such as magical lightning, invisibility, astral projection, elemental control. He is also able to expel people or objects into other dimensions, read and manipulate the thoughts of others and make the time travel in a second. And the ultimate skill of this character is healing.

It’s true for his title of doctor, Stephen Strange can heal all wounds by magic, even regrow new body parts. In addition, he also has the ability to be nearly immortal when not getting old or suffering any kind of illness.

3.  Clea     

         Clea is the daughter of the powerful sorceress Umar, the niece of the Faltine sorcerer Dormammu, and the lover, wife, disciple, and sometimes foe of magical hero, Doctor Strange. As a result of those connections, she is an extremely adept and powerful sorceress in her own right.

 In spite of her inherent mystical nature, it is mostly the teachings of Strange that have led to her mastery over magic, resulting in powers including teleportation, telekinesis, the expulsion of magical energy blasts, and mind-controlling abilities.

 Some of her most impressive specific feats of power include adorning the powerful Flames of Regency and invoking powerful entities like the Seraphim.

 

4.   Loki 

 

One of the most notable villains in MCU, Loki, Prince of Asgard, Odinson, the rightful heir of Jotunheim, and God of Mischief, is burdened with glorious purpose. He possesses strength, durability, and longevity far superior to humans. The most powerful sorcerer in all of Asgard, Loki’s magical abilities include astral projection, shape-shifting, hypnosis, molecular rearrangement, energy blasts, levitating, conjuration, cry kinesis, telekinesis, and teleportation.

 In addition, Loki can connect to others telepathically and see into their memories, mystically imbue objects, and create rifts between dimensions. However, the most dangerous thing about Thor's younger brother is his intelligence. With his wisdom, he can easily cheat everyone with dozens of plans in his mind.  Despite a supervillain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this character captured so many adorations of the audiences.

 5. Dormammu 

           Dormammu is a primordial inter-dimensional entity that wields apocalyptic levels of supernatural power and is the ruler of the Dark Dimension. In terms of powers, you may know that Dormammu used a mysterious source of magic which was completely different from Doctor Strange’s. Especially, this man can create magic for himself, so it's a piece of cake for him to control everything.

 Besides, the origin of his power didn't come from any normal objects, but from the reverence and faith of people who begged for his favor. And so, the more people who fear, the stronger he will be. And for him, the power is never enough, so he is constantly expanding his level of power and all Marvel universe is one of his goals.

 6.  The Spectre

                 The Spectre is considered as one of the most powerful beings on Earth. He is the divine Spirit of Vengeance, a powerful agent of the Presence, bound to a human host to curb his power and offer guidance. His hosts over the years have been James Corrigan, Hal Jordan, and Crispus Allen. This character is literally a supernatural force owning an extremely enormous power.

He is able to create things only by thinking, exchange reality, and control time. Not only that, but Specter also has DC's most powerful magical ability and is even immortal. Therefore, he even scared Superman on some occasions.

7.  Doctor Fate

          Doctor Fate is a coat that has been passed down to many people over the years. Initially, Dr. Fate was Kent Nelson, a man who found out the tomb of the witch Nabu this, and was instructed to use magic. Then, Nelson came back to America and became a superhero.

 Doctor Fate possesses various powers due to Nabu's training, such as spellcasting, flight, superhuman strength, invulnerability, telekinesis, telepathy, pyrokinesis, and lightning manipulation, teleportation, healing, force fields, ice manipulation, immateriality, and the ability to travel between parallel Earths.

 However, Fate is unable to counteract spells that have already been cast and are in effect but is able to cancel elemental spells cast by weaker magicians. Fate's powers have been described as "the true conversion of energy into matter, and matter into energy".

 8.  Shazam         

  Shazam, formerly known as “Captain Marvel”, is a superhero in the DC Comics Universe. Initially, Shazam is an old witch who has guarded the magical world for 3000 years to protect humans from Seven Deadly Sins. But when he felt that it was time to leave, he used magic to bring Billy Batson - an orphan boy to his castle to give him his powers. Billy has endowed superpowers from the six powerful Gods with the six different civilizations.

 These powers are the combination of the intelligence of Solomon, super strength of Hercules, the toughness of Atlas, the magic of Zeus, the bravery of Achilles, and the SuperSpeed of Mercury.  Whenever he wants to use the superpowers, he just needs to shout two words “SHAZAM”, and immediately he will get the powers from the Gods.

9.  Zatanna          

 Unlike other magical characters in DC Comics, Zatanna was inherited magical abilities and has never been imparted any complex magic techniques. Zatanna's magical abilities revolve around saying reverse commands, which makes them happen in real life.

For example, if she says "Ti Pord" (the reverse of "Drop it") you will drop whatever you're holding. The weakness of this ability is that Zatanna needs to be able to say those words, and for them to be heard by others. If she is gagged or trapped underwater, then her powers won't work.

 Zatanna's magical abilities became the focus of DC's Identity Crisis series. Besides, this character used her magic to "wipe the mind" of Justice League's enemies.

 10. Eclipso      

 Eclipso is a supervillain, appearing for the first time in the House of Secret #61 in 1963. He is the first incarnation of Wrath of God and Angel of Vengeance.

Eclipso is captured deeply inside the Heart of Darkness, he has the ability to possess things in contact with him, most notably Bruce Gordon. A magical being of incalculable strength, Eclipso has demonstrated the powers of flight, immortality, invulnerability, super speed and stamina, advanced intellect, and especially killing his enemies by the deadly rays from his eyes.

 Eclipso possesses vast magical powers that allow him to perform such godlike feats as manipulation of the weather and seas to cause natural disasters, increasing his size to that of a giant, absorbing the powers of the Spectre, and projecting powerful energy from his hands that can stun or kill his opponents.
